Pretty crazy, expect that the last time the Gold Speed Run was held someone actually did it. Three broke 200k. Eleven broke 100k.
The one thing to keep in mind is that is starting from zero, on a new server, no guild, no transfers, no heirlooms, no friends, no buying gold, no nothing.
